The
RC4-TX32D is an excellent balance of features and price, providing
everything most users need to operate DC lamps and motors with 12V
batteries.
Thirty-two
wireless dimmer channels are updated faster than 60 times per second, beating most DMX consoles. RC4 delivers the shortest latency
time in the industry: the delay introduced by the wireless link is
nearly imperceptible. Wired and wireless lamps patched to the same
channel will track together, ensuring the RC4 system is truly transparent
to the lighting designer.
Patch
any DMX or CV input to any RC4 wireless channel. You can use
a contiguous block of DMX channels, or map any combination of inputs
in any order. Save multiple patch setups for recall at any time.
Check
battery voltage at any time, even during a running cue.
RC4 Wireless uses a bidirectional
digital data link, returning status information
from any receiver in real time — even during a running cue.
Compatible
with all models of RC4-RX4 receiver/dimmers, any dimmer
output can be patched and setup for linear, inverse-square-law, or
switch output, all from the front panel of the TX32D transmitter. A
low-level limit helps avoid dumping battery power into cold filaments
and stalled motors.
Making
changes to your setup is easy at any time, even when your
receivers are buried
inside set pieces. The TX32D user interface — comprised
of a 2-line LCD, 16-key keypad, and rotary control with push button — provide
access to every receiver in your RC4 system. Changes to receiver setup
can even be done on-the-fly.
